Purchase Ledger Clerk | Preston, Lancashire | Up to £22,000 + 3% Pension + 20 Days Holiday + 8 Days Bank Holiday + Healthcare Plan | Retail / FMCG. 12 Month Contract.

 

My client is a Retail business in the Preston area who are looking to hire an experience Purchase Ledger clerk. Reporting into the Management Accountant, you will be part of a team responsible for the following: -

  • Processing high volumes of daily invoices
  • Matching, checking and coding
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Processing BACS payment runs
  • Resolving supplier queries

To be a success in this role it is likely that you will possess recent Accounts Receivable experience, have strong Excel skills and be able to communicate well with internal and external contacts alike. Knowledge of M3/Movex would be an advantage but is not essential.
