Interim EMEA Finance Director

Blackwaters is recruiting for an EMEA Finance Director on behalf of a global Manufacturing group, based in Epsom  

Primary responsibility will be to provide strong, professional and compliant financial and operations support to the organisation.

Job Requirements (not limited to):

• Manage all group reporting for the EMEA function (US GAAP)
• Contribute to the achievement of the company's business objectives by providing advice and guidance on financial strategy.
• Develop and control the company’s operating budget process to ensure that all financial targets are met and financial and statutory regulations complied with.
• Provide financial advice and guidance to the company's managers and staff to enable them to achieve their objectives.
• Oversee the preparation of the company's financial accounts to ensure that these are presented accurately and on time.
• Develop and maintain all necessary systems, policies and procedures to ensure effective and efficient financial management within the company.
• Monitor external contracts and services provided by suppliers to ensure that these are operating effectively and provide the best value to the company.
• Carry out all necessary actions to ensure that the company meets its financial and legal obligations.

The successful candidate will also participate in improvement initiatives and global projects.

Person Specification

The candidate must have extensive senior level financial experience in a large multi-national organisation, ideally operating in a multi-currency environment

Must be able to demonstrate:

• Accounting qualification. 
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
• Good interpersonal skills – Should be a flexible team player, proactive and have the ability to succeed in a complex and dynamic environment.
• An understanding of compliance, continuous improvement and excellent customer service.
• US GAAP exposure. 
• Manufacturing exposure.
