Interim Financial Accounting Manager

Global Listed business is looking for an Interim Finance Accounting Manager to support the Group Finance Team to deliver the year end consolidation, reporting and audit requirements on time and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Annual consolidation – support the Head of Financial Reporting and Group Financial Accountant with preparation of the group consolidation, including review of information from operating companies, review of journals and preparation of working papers 
• External financial reporting – direct involvement in the preparation of the group and company financial statements section of the Annual Report and Accounts including preparation of notes and cash flow statement and quality review of full document
• Technical papers – preparation of technical position papers to support positions taken on areas of complexity or accounting
• External audit – preparation of deliverables for the group audit and liaison with the Group’s external auditors

Candidate Profile:

• Fully-qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) with a strong technical background
• Considerable experience of IFRS, preparation of consolidations and preparation of group financial statements/annual reports, preferably of a listed entity
• Experience of producing reports to deadlines, should be a confident self-starter and able to work with minimum supervision
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build relationships internally and externally
