SF Recruitment are supporting a Private Equity backed multi-site specialist service business based in the North West Midlands. The primary purpose of the Finance Business Partner role is to ensure strong communication between the finance team and operational stakeholders to support the continued development of commercial decision making across group operations.

The position reports to the Group Financial Controller and will play a key role in further expanding the presence of the finance function across the business. Supporting the Divisional MDs and other Executive Team members with structured and ad hoc reporting, adopting a true Business Partnering approach.

Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

o Communication of monthly financial results to Divisional MDs through reporting channels and attendance at Business Partner meetings.
o Building positive working relationships with Executive and Senior Leadership Team members to deliver both tactical and strategic elements of the Group business plan.
o To evolve and adapt the reporting templates to meet the changing needs of operations, driving the reporting away from data and towards insight.
o Take a key role in budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure pending operational changes planned by the budget holders are recognised to jointly ensure their submitted budgets are complete, deliverable and accurate.
o Take responsibility for ad hoc financial reporting to assess the validity of a business proposal by way of a cost benefit analysis.
o Assist other support services in tasks with a commercial finance impact, such as tender pricing.
o Supporting on acquisitions pre and post completion.
o Sharing responsibility for continuous improvement in the finance team, covering areas such as efficiency and quality of output to ensure that finance is seen as an outstanding support service.
o To support the delivery of technology within the activities of the finance team to best support the business operations.

Requirements:

o ACA / ACCA / ACMA Qualified
o Written and oral presentation skills are essential
o Strong Excel modelling skills are essential
