Finance Apprentice

A forward-thinking and progressive company in Winsford is looking for a likeminded individual to join them as a Finance Apprentice. There is a team of 4 already in finance and this full-time, permanent apprenticeship position has come about due to growth of the business.

About You

The role will suit somebody who may have just finished GCSEs / college and is keen to start their career in accounts and finance. Study support for the AAT qualification can be provided along with a clear and structured progressive role. After AAT further study support can be offered for CIMA / ACCA so the successful apprentice can become a fully qualified accountant!

The Finance Apprentice will need to be numerical, analytical and have a high attention to detail.

Your New Role

Some of the key tasks you will be involved in include:

• Processing and matching invoices
• Chasing proof of deliveries and invoice sign off, both internal and external
• Processing pro forma invoices after training
• Filing
• Sorting post
• Dealing with suppliers via email & phone
• Request month end statements from suppliers
• Ad hoc responsibilities

There will be other duties in addition to the above, with responsibilities growing as the apprentice develops their skill set.

Salary & Benefits

In return, the Finance Apprentice will be offered:

• £15,000 - £18,000 per annum
