Finance Manager

The role will have involvement in all aspects of finance, providing accurate and important information to drive business strategy and support key decisions in line with the senior management team.

The role is also responsible for statutory reporting requirements, such as VAT submissions and audit inputs as well as liaising closely with the Finance shared service and acting as an operations business partner.

Client Details

My client is a high end manufacturing business on the outskirts of Cardiff looking to add a newly qualified accountant to a growing dynamic team.

Description

Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly and yearly forecasts.

Preparation of monthly management accounts, including journals, departmental overheads and cost of sales reporting.

Responsible for stat reporting alongside group, leading shared service team in delivering monthly VAT.

Supporting Internal & External Audit when required.

Acting as FBP for the shared service when required.

Responsibility for stock takes & PI stock counts.

Profile

This role is perfect for a newly qual looking to progress through the business. You will need to be strong on excel and system savvy.

Newly qualified in ACA, ACCA or CIMA.

Previous manufacturing experience is a benefit but not essential.

The successful candidate will possess a strong worth ethic and the ability to work under pressure.

Must have a commercial outlook and be results orientated.
