Resourcery Group are working on behalf of a leading c.£100m t/o organisation in the Cheshire West and Chester region to recruit an expert analyst for the position of FP&A Analyst.
The business is complex and constantly changing and requires an experienced commercial or financial analyst capable of managing and manipulating large complex data sets producing meaningful reports and MI to allow the key cross-functional stakeholders to make more informed commercial and operational decisions. Reporting to the UK Finance Director you will be operating across several business units both in the UK and overseas. The FP&A Analyst will have daily interaction with the FD and CFO and will thus possess the gravitas and strength of personality to challenge and be challenge constructively. - Collect, analyse and format data to produce business reports;
- Work with senior management in each of the business units to model commercial scenarios to assist in pricing strategies and decision making;
- Assist Finance Managers with margin analysis and variance reporting;
- Support business units to build budgets and forecasts;
- Ad-hoc projects to support Group FC and CFO;
Successful applicants will possess:
- Very strong excel skills - SQL, VBA helpful but not essential
- Ability to work with people at all levels of the organisation
- Ability to handle large volumes of data, coordinating data from several different data sources and systems
- Comfortable working in a fast paced, dynamic work environment
- Experience of working in a business services environment
From a qualification perspective you will be a:
- CIMA, ACCA, ACA qualified or part-qualified accountant
- Or QBE with extensive data analytical skills
