Management Accountant - Sheffield

Elevation Recruitment Group are working with one Sheffield's leading manufacturing businesses to recruitment a Management Accountant. As part of an international Group this successful organisation have performed well during 2020 despite the challenges of Covid, and going into 2021 they have ambitions to continue the growth of the business.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is a stand alone role at the Sheffield site, where you will have responsibility for all site reporting and for supporting the Operational team on the shop floor, so there is a good mix of reporting and business partnering / commercial exposure.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Financial planning, budgeting and forecasting
- Ensure timely, accurate reporting of results, financial statements, forecasts, budgeting, all cost and management accounting data
- Ensure assets are safe guarded, and all systems are adequate enough to support accurate financial reporting
- Provide liaison and co-ordination between site and head office to ensure consistency in accounting and forecasting
- Actively support all WIN strategy initiatives
- Assist on special projects and strategic initiatives - lean enterprise/lean accounting
- Provide finance related support to other departments
- Support the local management teams to improve financial performance
