Our employer of choice in the Preston area are recruiting for a Commercial Finance Business Partner to join a fantastic finance team based on the Preston site to oversee Northern operations. This role will also manage two direct reports.

Your new role

Your new role will involve partnering with and supporting operations and commercial. Your role will involve supporting the Preston site as well as other sites in the North, all of who report into the parent organisation based in Europe. The role will change and develop as the next incumbent progresses into the role. Day to day duties will include Planning, Budgeting and Re forecasting, management of overheads, variance analysis, P&L management, maintenance of the fixed asset register, tender exercises, creating working groups and much more (Full job specification available on request).

What you'll need to succeed

You will need be fully qualified or close to qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) and have experience working in Manufacturing or another industry based organisation in a Business Partnering or Commercial finance role. You must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to demonstrate a background working with a variety of stakeholders at all levels, the ideal candidate will have partnered very closely with operations and have experience of costing.

This role is extremely varied and offers prospects for a hands on and passionate Operations based Accountant who wants to continue to develop a career in industry accounting.
