Management Accounting Lead / Manager- Sheffield City Centre

Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be recruiting a Management Accounting Lead / Manager to work for a Global market leading business that is a well known brand within their sector.

Reporting to the Group Financial Reporting Manager you will be managing a team of four Management Accountants and will have responsibility for overseeing the preparation of accurate and timely divisional management accounts, whilst ensuring the integrity of the balance sheet and underlying financial records of divisions within the Group.

Responsibilities will include:

- Oversee and manage the preparation and reporting of monthly management accounts, providing support on key technical areas including revenue recognition
- To have understanding of all key revenue streams and to work with the management accountants to ensure accuracy of reported revenue
- Work with finance business partners to ensure revenue recognised
- To assist in building and maintaining profit and loss budgets and forecasts for the Group
- To deliver improvements in the management accounting reporting cycle
- Ensure that all appropriate balance sheet accounts are reconciled
- Effectively co-ordinate relevant activities with the management accountants
- Assist with any due diligence or integration project work associated with bringing new acquisitions into the Group
- To manage and support all direct reports
- Provide support to the Group Financial Reporting Manager and Business Partners as appropriate

If you are a fully qualified Accountant, ideally from a Practice background (although not essential), with strong technical accounting skills and people management experience then this could be the job for you.
