My client, a respected challenger bank, is looking to recruit a Regulatory Reporting Analyst on a full time, permanent basis.
The key focus of the role is to prepare accurate, timely regulatory reporting templates and similar external reports for review by the Regulatory Reporting Manager. There will be a core focus on the more technically challenging areas of financial, capital and liquidity reporting for a regulated banking entity.
Duties: -
Preparing key regulatory returns including financial reporting FINREP, COREP, liquidity, encumbrance, interest rate risk and mortgage lending administrators returns
Reviewing of regulatory returns prepared offshore
Preparing analysis of key regulatory returns, investigate variances and escalate concerns
Ensuring timely submission of key regulatory returns
Assisting the Regulatory Reporting team with horizon scanning, carrying out gap analysis of any new reporting requirements
Assisting the Regulatory Reporting Manager in maintaining a controlled and auditable framework, ensuring a robust analytical environment is in place
Key Skills: -
Being a proficient user of the ALM system (Focus) and Treasury system (Quantum)
Previous experience of financial reporting is essential, ideally within Financial Services
Previous experience of analysing transactions/products for reporting requirements
Experience of data interrogation and analysis
Knowledge of the regulatory framework.
