Financial Controller job for a well established manufacturing business paying up to £55,000
Your new company
Your new job will be based at a well established manufacturing business who pride themselves on very high quality, precision engineering. Their Guildford based offices have free parking onsite and house both "build" and head office in one building. There is a strong culture of teamwork and in addition has strong financial backing.
Your new role
Your new role as a "team lead" for finance will be responsible for the day to day accounting of the business, overseeing a small transactional processing team, month end reporting and analysis for stakeholders as well as overseeing quarter and year end reporting. In addition you will be in charge of cost accounting, budgeting and forecasting. This is a broad role with a great opportunity to positively impact!!
What you'll need to succeed
In addition to your professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/equivalent) you should have strong hands on experience of working in an engineering or manufacturing business within finance. An overall knowledge of running a finance team / department would be highly advantageous and the confidence to spot and create new opportunities to drive revenue growth or cost efficiencies.
