Financial Accountant (Qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA)

Gleeson Recruitment Group are delighted to be working exclusively with our high-profile, multi-national, impressive Pharmaceutical client, who's Head Quarters are in Maidenhead, who seek a Qualified Financial Accountant for their growing finance team.

You will ideally be Qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA), combined with recent. hands-on financial accounting experience, ideally from a multi-site, or Shared Service Centre background. This role initially will be hired on a 6-9 month basis to cover maternity leave and our client is able to offer an immediate start.

You will report into the Head of Financial Accounting, and working (remotely initially) with a close-knit Financial Accounting team - the majority of which are Part Qualified and Qualified.

Your responsibilities as the Financial Accountant will be varied, and will include:

- Accruals, Prepayments

- Fixed Assets

- Month-end Reconciliations

- Balance Sheet Recs and Bank Reconciliations

- Multi-currency transactions

- Business Partnering with the wider finance and non-finance business

- Daily advanced use of Excel

The successful profile as the Financial Accountant will ideally be:

- Proactive, and be a good problem solver

- Be able to cope with large volumes of work, whilst being able to cope under pressure

- Be focussed with a high attention to detail

- Add value in all areas of the Financial Accounting team and be prepared to step up when required

- Be Qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)

- Demonstrable experience of working in a similar fast-paced role

This is a great Financial Accountant opportunity to join an established, well recognised business - and although initially working from home, and on-boarded at home, it may be in Spring 2021 when you would return to the office, so it's essential you are able to commute easily to the Maidenhead site.
