Senior Finance Analyst in Cambridge?

Gleeson Recruitment Group is currently recruiting for a Senior Financial Analyst in Cambridge, who will help to build the Financial Planning & Analysis team.

The organisation is aiming to become the biggest tech business in the UK and has seen rapid growth which will provide the perfect platform for an ambitious Accountant to grow within a large PLC. The FP&A team is small at present, but as their growth continues, this role will be at the forefront of any changes and will be heavily involved in building the service offered and the team needed to really add value.

The day to day will need a hands-on Accountant who enjoys manipulating and translating data into commercial viable MI to support the leadership team. Budgeting & forecasting and financial modelling experience would also be an advantage, however, not essential.

What will I be responsible for?

As the Senior Finance Analyst in Cambridge, you will be a crucial part of the operational Finance team, which will see you interacting with commercial and regional teams are maximising revenue.

• Challenge, review, and support pricing proposals and discussions with regional finance managers and commercial business partners.
• Database and pricing system updates and improvements.
• Delegate responsibility for Head Of FP&A when required.
• Budget and Business Plan preparation by liaising with operating areas in addition to Finance.
• Lead risks and opportunities process for sales.

To be successful within this role, you will need to be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with an interest in all things analytical and a passion for building relationships and supporting commercial decision making. Excel experience is key alongside a genuine ambition to progress and constantly seek new opportunities to develop experience.
