Your new company
Our public sector client are looking to recruit a Financial & Capital Accountant for a period of 6 months.

Your new role
You will be part of the financial accounting team providing a full range of services including the production of statutory annual accounts, liaising with both external & internal audit and cash management. You will be a key player within the finance team, liaising with various stakeholders. You will produce financial reports, projections and analysis for the capital schemes and fixed assets and complete a monthly performance report including balance sheet forecasts. Be responsible for the upkeep of the fixed asset register including ensuring that the fixed asset register accurately reflects the fixed assets at any point in time

What you'll need to succeed
You will be an ACA, CIPFA, ACCA or CIMA qualified or part qualified accountant with previous experience of working within a public sector finance department ideally from the NHS. You will have experience in advising and guiding both finance & non-finance managers. Most importantly you will have demonstrable experience of personal commitment and a professional attitude to ensure the provision of excellent financial information.
