Management Accountant

Elevation Recruitment Group are proud to be working on an exclusive basis with a reputable and well known business in Doncaster that is also an employer of choice in the region. They operate a number of businesses in the group and have operations spanning across the UK and into Europe.

As a result of further growth, they have a rare opportunity for a Newly Qualified Management Accountant to join them on a permanent basis.

Reporting into the Head of Finance Operations, you will be responsible for the timely production of Monthly Management Accounts, maintaining financial controls as well as working closely with the Finance Business Partners to present results. It will be a varied and all encompassing role with duties to include:-

* Production of the Monthly Management Accounts for two of the group's subsidiaries
* Variance analysis along with commentary
* Posting of journal entries
* Preparation of control account reconciliations
* Develop and maintain a close working relationship with relevant commercial finance business partners to ensure appropriate treatment and presentation of transactions and results
* Develop and monitor robust and timely financial controls
* Ad-hoc projects as and when required

To be considered for this role you MUST have the following:

* Recently CIMA/ ACCA/ ACA Qualified (Late part qualified will also be considered)
* At least 2-3 years experience within management accounts
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Strong IT skills (including Advanced Excel)
* Change management skills would be beneficial
