Property Accountant - OUR CLIENT has a proven track record of delivery within the real estate sector with an International outlook. They consistently provide Investment solutions on behalf of their clients across the globe and as a result of continued growth and forward looking change to maximise their efficiency they are currently seeking a high calibre Property Accountant to join their notable Finance team.

THE ROLE - As a Property Accountant, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Managing all reports related to service-charges.
  • Supporting the implementation of their designated Property systems throughout their European managing agents.
  • Supporting the operational processes involved with the acquisition, management and disposal of real estate assets.
  • Assisting with the year-end audit process.
  • Providing effective accounting and administration services in relation to real estate assets.
  • Providing responsive service and assisting the portfolio management team and other stakeholders.
  • Ensuring the integrity of all information related to property including valuations, income and expenses within the financial reporting systems.
  • Assisting with the management of workflow tasks such as new property set-up, lease management and vacancies.
  • Ensuring general compliance with procedures, controls and internal risk policies.
  • Managing external and internal loan balances and ensuring individual SPV's have enough liquidity to meet ongoing obligations.
  • Assisting with the corporate reporting and governance for property holding companies.
  • Ensuring the persistent improvement of all processes related to fund operations that are under the remit of the role.

THE PERSON: - YOU will have experience of accounting and administration within a real estate environment, ideally across continental European countries. You will have experience of service-charge accounting, property insurance and related reporting activities. You will require excellent reconciliation and investigation skills. You will have a solid understanding and experience of real estate systems (YADI, QUBE, TRAMPS or similar). You will have the ability to work cross-departmentally and to communicate effectively. You will have a great work ethic and possess an attention to detail. You will have good interpersonal skills and have the ability to effectively liaise with a variety of staff across the business. You will have strong business analysis and Excel skills. You will be self-motivated, professional and assertive. You will be a solid team player who displays the utmost discretion when dealing with sensitive information. A French speaker would be deemed highly beneficial but not essential. This Role offers an exciting opportunity for a hardworking individual to join a notable Finance team within an expanding international company.
