Our client is one of the UK’s leading providers of outdoor environmental education.
They now have an opportunity for a Financial Controller to manage their Finance team along with the day to day running of their busy Finance department.
Proactive in your approach, you will take ownership for the provision, development and delivery of management accounting information and deliver timely results while looking to improve and constantly evolve processes and procedures. You will be responsible for all financial operations of the Charity, including reporting to the Board of Trustees, forecasting, Budgeting, MI, cash management and will oversee elements of invoicing, debtor & creditor management and Insurances.
Our client is an ever improving organisation and you shall support the implementation of new processes and controls to help develop the organisation’s self-awareness.
You will need to be a fully qualified Accountant (ACA or ACCA) and have experience of working in a similar multi-site environment. With solid line management experience, the successful candidate will be highly proficient in cash flow management, management reporting and have strong IT skills e.g. word, processing, databases, spreadsheets and outlook. Knowledge of Sage / Resource Link / CRM software would be beneficial.
