Management Accountant (fixed term contract)

We're currently working with a business on the outskirts of Ely as they look to bring in an experienced management accountant to support the site finance function initially on a 6 month contract with potential to extend.

Reporting to the head of finance you'll be joining a fast paced environment looking after the month end processes while looking at large volumes of data to analyse and produce reports. You'll be preparing management accounts on a monthly basis for your divisions looking at profitability and margin analysis for new and existing products.
As a link to the central finance function you'll be in regular communication to support the budgets and forecasting across your remit; this role is a diverse position that at the heart will be excel heavy as you'll be interrogating data from various areas of the business ensuring timely and accurate reports are presented with associated commentary.

The role will require being in the Covid safe office 50% of the time due to the remit of the role and interactions with other areas of the business.

The successful applicant will hold an accounting qualification although qualified by experience will also be considered. You'll have strong excel skills with the ability to manipulate large volumes of information- ensuring communication to non-finance colleagues is kept clear and concise. You'll be either immediately available or on available at 1 weeks notice.

Salary £45,000-£50,000
