FP&A Accountant Role in Global Business (6m FTC) Competitive Salary and Benefits

Your new company
A large organisation near Ely is seeking an experienced FP&A Accountant to join their growing Finance team until June 2021. This organisation has a vast network of established relationships in their field and have production facilities across the world.


Your new role
As the FP&A Accountant you will be responsible for; agreeing budget assumptions with stakeholders - including profit targets, ROCE, cash generation, currency exchange rates and interest. You will design submission template packs for the budget model for the group as well as reports for the business forecast in line with strategic objectives. Build on the CAPEX summery and support investment appraisal and create robust quarterly reporting model working with multiple finance teams. Review the existing treasury process and identify weaknesses and support the development of the risk register.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you as the FP&A Accountant will need to be a qualified or close to completing a CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualification. You will ideally have experience in the FMCG/ Food Sector and have experience and understanding of the impact of Brexit on an international business. The ideal candidate would have experience working as part of a group reporting function as you will liaise closely with colleagues across the group and play an integral role in the creation, analysis and presentation of the Group Business Plan. You must have exceptional Excel ability and be very proficient in picking up systems quickly, having used JDE is preferable but not essential.
