This is a great opportunity for somebody who is looking to take a lead role in managing a SME Finance function. You will be involved in all activities from transactional level up to board level reporting and take a hands on role in managing and developing a team along the way.
My client is a complex SME who have developed a diverse product offering over their 100 year life span. They are focused on evolving their business through continuous investment in to their product offering and capabilities as opposed to growth via acquisition. This has resulted in steady and continuous growth. My client has remained stable and secure throughout covid 19 and are in a really strong position to capitalise in the current climate.
This is a hands on role that requires a qualified level Accountant to manage the day to day finance function, reporting in to the Finance Director. You will be responsible for a small team based on site and overseas and therefore will need to be a experienced people manager that is comfortable managing remotely. This role requires the successful applicant to be hands on at all levels from transactional processes to board level reporting and deputising for the current FD on occasions.

- ACCA / CIMA / ACA fully qualified with post qualified level experience
- Hands on experience of 3 years or more managing a finance function
- Payroll experience
- Advanced level of excel skills
- Experience in managing direct reports
- Experience working within a SME environment
