Description

Finance Manager working for an interesting and commercial not for profit organisation based in central Leeds. Newly created role as a result of 2 internal promotions.

You will be delivering statutory and management reporting, including the year end statutory accounts as well as managing a number of the operational finance teams with a commitment to drive continuous improvement of end-to-end finance processes.

People management, mentoring and supporting will form a key part of this role and you will need to be comfortable managing people across a blended office and home based locations.

Profile

Candidates will need to be accountancy qualified (ACA, CA or ACCA equivalent), with suitable up to date knowledge of accounting standards and have strong experience of year-end accounting processes and preparation of statutory accounts.

Good people management skills gained within a Finance Manager or similar position.

Experience of process improvement and an appreciation of what a good process should look like and a commitment and drive towards continuous improvement.

A sound understanding of the principles of Payroll, Accounts Payable, Credit Control, Fixed Assets and Bank and Cash.

Outstanding organisational skills contributing to overall efficiency in working.

Organised, confident, with initiative and great communication skills.

Job Offer

c£48,000 - £53,000 depending upon relevant experience
