Site Accountant

The Site Accountant will provide financial information and guidance to drive business decisions in line with the businesses strategic and operational goals. You will also ensure all policies and procedures are in place and adhered to across the site .

Key Responsibilities include:

• Support the site and wider business with timely accurate financial information
• Provide business advice and guidance to the management team on site to assist the business in achievement of its strategic and operational goals
• Financial planning and forecasting
• Put together monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts
• Pulling together monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts
• Support with month end processes
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting (US and Local GAAP)
• Ensure internal controls are in place
• Provide financial support for new and existing projects

Profile

You will:

• Hold a recognised accountancy qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
• Have previous experience within a Manufacturing environment
• Have a good knowledge of cost accounting
• Good working knowledge of JDE Financials, JDE Manufacturing and SAP (preferable)
• Knowledge and understanding of Sarbanes Oxley (preferable)
• Able to build relationships and partner with Senior Stakeholders
• Organised and able to work to tight deadlines
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Results driven with ability to influence and drive change
• Excellent systems skills

Job Offer

Salary £35-40,000 (doe) plus benefits
