Our client is a privately owned and highly innovative technology and service provider delivering market leading solutions to clients in the UK and internationally. Due to business growth they are looking to recruit a client facing Commercial Finance Business Partner to analyse and challenge business performance, providing insight and recommendation to support the delivery of the strategic, operational, commercial and financial objectives of the Group


Your new role
Build robust and effective relationships with the client's finance teams and all aspects of the internal business, through gained respect, proven integrity and the ability to influence.
Ownership of all external financial reporting to clients, ensuring timeliness, accuracy, clear communication and valuable insight.
Support the control of client expenditure to meet budget and contractual targets, through detailed performance analysis and recommendation.
Forecasting and budgeting across all contracts to support the delivery of both the business and the client's strategy.
Proactively seek commercial opportunities for the business and its clients, whilst driving process best practice, efficiencies and cost saving initiatives.
Project appraisal through detailed data interrogation and modelling, considering options in a clear and structured way, proposing and implementing recommendations.
Support the Senior Management Team to establish, maintain and manage a robust financial control environment.
Assist with commercial responsibility including, contract variation control, financial proposals and stakeholder negotiation.
Management of financial risk, ensuring control at all times.
Act as key member of the commercial team, ensuring integration of finance throughout the business


What you'll need to succeed
The Commercial Finance Business Partner will be a qualified or part qualified accountant with previous experience in a commercial finance position.
They they will have strong financial reporting and analysis skills, be proactive, have good attention to detail, be inquisitive and have the ability and confidence to question, liaise and present at all levels.
The Commercial Finance Business Partner will have strong business acumen who will enjoy working with commercial and operational stake holders and management in a role where they can influence performance and strategy and add value to the business.
