Highly successful market leading UK and International business, currently working from home until spring 2021 and hybrid going forward, with offices in Colchester, Essex are looking to recruit a qualified Finance Accountant.


Your new role
The Financial Accountant will be working as part of a highly talented finance team of qualified and part qualified accountants. They will have responsibility for the full balance sheet review process, manage and develop the financial accounts activities to ensure strong balance sheet control and support year end reporting activities for legal entities and group.
The Financial Accountant will assist with the preparation of statutory financial statements and liaise with internal & external stakeholders to ensure integrity of period end reporting inline with statutory and group reporting requirements. They will play a key role in the review and development of procedures, controls and reporting to drive integrity, efficiency and clarity.
The Financial Accountant will provide support to stake holders and attend meetings to review balance sheets and provide financial support.



What you'll need to succeed
The Financial Accountant will be a qualified accountant with strong technical knowledge and experience in the production of financial statements and audit. They will have a good eye for detail, be inquisitive, analytical and have confidence to liaise at all levels. They will have excellent analytical and problem solving skills and a keen interest in process improvement.
