I am currently recruiting an Estimator Administrator for my client to join the team on a 12 month contract basis to cover a period of maternity leave. The opportunity will be reviewed towards the end of contract and may be extended or made permanent. The successful candidate will be based in the Bromborough office which is a fast paced and friendly office. As part of the estimating team, you will be responsible for all aspects of administration. The ideal candidate will have proven admin experience, have a calm approach to workload and a can-do attitude.

Prior Officer Experience is essential as well as:

  • Ability to work without supervision
  • Excellent Time Management Skills
  • Exceptional communication
  • Technical Skills, Including Proficiency with Microsoft office programs
  • Strong Prioritisation and Organisation skills
  • Ability to Handle Confidential Information and Strong Record Keeping Skills
  • Ability to Multi-task

Some of the tasks involved in the job include but not limited to:


  • Download information from enquiry and log (across three companies)
  • Input data into database systems
  • Declining enquires via emails and portals
  • Uploading tender documents to tender sites
  • Communicate with estimating managing director regarding enquires and assigning them to estimators
  • Keep estimating calendar UpToDate and send out invites to relevant estimator
  • Keeping the project tracker up to date with new jobs
  • Uploading costings from Estimator onto system
  • Printing off any handovers that have been completed by estimator
  • Maintaining the estimating folders on company server and moving them over once complete
  • Creating job sheets and entering information on Eque2 for reactive works at GRS
  • Generating sales reports for sales team monthly with estimating figures from access database
  • Creating monthly reports from the same figures and populating excel tables
  • Updating estimating jobs once it's been prices by the estimator
  • Maintaining fuel reports for the company (mac)
  • Printing off waste reports
  • Chasing estimator who have not completed tenders on time
  • Answering the phone if it's in overflow
