The Company
Our client is a leading engineering and manufacturing business with operations across Europe. Due to an exciting time of growth, a new role has been created within their finance team for a Finance Business Partner to support their commercial teams.

The Role
A broad ranging role, you will support the Sales Director, General Managers, Legal and Transport teams providing commercially sound advice through the analysis of robust numbers:

  • You will be the first point of contact for finance-related queries providing assistance to the Sales Director, sales teams and General Managers with commercial matters and working with them to understand the financial and commercial impact of contracts.
  • You will also partner closely with the Transport teams on finance issues relating to Letters of Credit and export documentation as well as supporting the legal team to review contracts and ascertain and address any risks.
  • Working alongside the Head of Commercial Accounting & Finance Director, you will play a key role in the preparation of annual business plans as well as overseeing the management and consolidation of the company forecasting process.
  • Ad-hoc projects.

  • A newly created role, you will liaise closely with a diverse range of senior stakeholders both internally and also for external customers so we are looking for an ambitious, confident character, professional in their approach with excellent communication skills.
  • You will lead from the front and not be afraid to challenge the numbers or the decision- making process.
  • It is essential that you are a qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA or ACCA) with strong academics and proven PQE, you will have advanced Excel skills and strong financial modelling skills.
  • Ideally, you will have experience of project accounting, exporting goods, working in an aftersales environment, and will have delivered risk management change projects.
