A listed oil and gas group is looking for a Financial Accountant to join its team on a full-time basis, initially for 12 months. This is a project role in which you will help to implement a new ERP system and assist the Financial controller with day to day finance.
Your New Role
As the Financial Accountant you will be responsible for:
- Delivering project activity within the finance team
- Overview of the AP/AR function
- Journal posting on SAP including prepayments
- VAT returns
- Preparation of P+L & Balance sheet / consolidating annual accounts for trading entities
- Managing operational accounting and transactional activities
About You
The ideal Financial Accountant will be a qualified Chartered Accountant who demonstrates:
- Extensive financial accounting experience
- Knowledge of posting journals in SAP is essential
- Experience within commodities trading is highly beneficial
Salary
On offer for the Financial Accountant will be a competitive pro rata salary equivalent to £45,000 - £50,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
