Group Accountant

Partner Financial are working with a listed high growth International services business, who have grown aggressively over the past few years both organically and through international acquisitions.

This role will be supporting the Senior Group Finance Manager and Group Controller with statutory and regulatory reporting and driving the compliance and group policy agenda across the regions while building key relationships with the Financial Leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting with the delivery of all monthly actuals (P&L and Balance Sheet) and ensuring IFRS compliance
• Supporting the Group consolidation process and preparing the consolidated Financial Statements
• Ensuring integrity of the consolidated monthly results which are then presented to the business units
• Ensuring delivery of high quality and accurate financial information for the Senior Management Team
• Identifying new accounting standards and working with the business to ensure continued compliance
• Providing financial input to the acquisition process
• Working closely with the Group Reporting team to support the delivery of training to improve company compliance

The Ideal Candidate:

• Chartered Accountant, qualified with a Top-tier Practice
• Experience working with complex consolidations within a multi-national organisation
• Significant ‘hands-on’ HFM experience
• Able to deliver with exceptional levels of accuracy, placing a high regard on achieving excellence
• Self-motivated, able to work under pressure and driven to succeed
• Excellent IT skills, including Excel, and the ability to learn new IT systems and processes
• Strong communication skills both written and oral
