Financial Accountant

Partner Financial are working with a world leading online media and marketing enterprise. It is at the forefront of innovation within the industry and continues to create new solutions for its thousands of clients, maximising brand/consumer interaction on all formats, thus, providing the highest value for their online marketing strategies.

The company is at an important juncture in its growth and requires an experienced Financial Accountant to join the team and work solely on the preparation of circa 8 sets of statutory accounts to assist with the year-end process. This is a great opportunity for an individual who has an interest in the digital industry and wants to be involved in a growing and global business.

Key responsibilities:

• Producing statutory accounts for the various entities and liaising with auditors;
• Producing accurate and timely monthly accounts according the IFRS standards, and coordinating the completion of the month end processes and review of balance sheet reconciliations;
• Ensuring the accurate maintenance of the general ledger and chart of accounts as well as all accounting policies/controls of the group;
• Building strong relationships with the rest of the finance team and senior stakeholders;
• Working on ad-hoc project and analysis as directed by the Group Financial Controller.

The ideal Candidate will have:

• An accountancy qualification obtained in practice (preferably ACA or ACCA) with relevant PQE;
• Excellent technical skills with a detailed knowledge of accounts preparation, both statutory and from incomplete records gained in industry;
• The ability to manage workload, prioritise efficiently;
• Strong IT skills, including Excel, and the ability to learn new IT systems and processes;
• Strong communication skills both written and oral;
• A driven and resilient attitude.
