International consumer business based in London are looking to hire an Interim Risk and Controls Manager for a 12 month contract. In this key role, you will support the finance leadership with a number of key priorities during a period of change and transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support internal and external stakeholders with delivery of internal financial controls project
- Help to embed best practice risk management within the business
- Review and documentation of finance processes, helping to identify and recover any deficiencies and weaknesses
- Help to enhance the business’ risk and controls framework, to ensure audit process runs smoothly
Candidate Profile:
- Accountancy or Internal Audit Qualification, of graduate calibre
- Experience and expertise operating in an internal controls role, ideally within an international business
- Hands-on and delivery focused, with strong process improvement mindset
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment, going through change and transformation
