About the organisation.
Established technology service provider with plans to double in size over the next three years has a newly created role for an ambitious ACA qualified Accountant.

You will play an integral role in Finance & Operations, engaging & partnering with external vendors, internal peers and business leaders through the proactive delivery, reporting and communication of financial performance results.

Reporting directly to the GFC, your responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of financial statements
• Prepare and review monthly results including posting EOM journals (Prepayments, Accruals, Payroll, revenue and expenses).
• Assist the GFC in process development and implementation.
• Tax
• Preparation and review of monthly General Ledger reconciliations
• Monthly Management Reporting.
• Audit
• Preparation of quarterly Business Activity Statements.
• Preparation of intercompany loan and trade creditor reconciliations.
• Review bank reconciliations (Including Trust Accounts) for entities.
• Annual budgeting, forecasting and planning.
• Mentoring and supervision of an Assistant Accountant.

Skills and experience:

• Current ACA Qualification
• Sound technical working knowledge of financial and management reporting, tax and other regulatory compliance.
• Strong systems skills
• Financial Analytical capabilities.
• Demonstrated management & supervision of direct reports.

About you
You are a newly qualified ACA Accountant with ideally one year in industry and immediately available. Alternatively, you may looking at your first move into industry.
