Head of Group Accounting

Your new company
A start-up company who are only 3 years old but on an incredibly fast-growing trajectory are looking for a Head of Finance. With headcount having recently expanded from c to 12 in the last 9 months, and revenue set to grow from c to 9mill in 2020, they are relishing a fast-paced and scale up season. This company deals about 60% B to C and 95% wholesale and deals with 95% apparel and 5% other accessories. Liaising with impressive and well-known names, this brand is set to enjoy an explosion into the consumer good market.

Your new role
This role is the second finance hire within the business as they bring accounts in house, win new business and report to stakeholders. You will be partnering with entrepreneurial co-founders and leading the business to new heights, offering strategic financial expertise and commercial analysis in both a retrospective and forward-thinking capacity. This role will also be invest with ambition of the future goals, and be drawn to the risk and reward of a potential future exit plan.

What you'll need to succeed
ECommerce experience is a must and experience of dealing with the hands-on nature of a fast-growing retail start-up, ERP Implementation experience or SME finance function experience will be greatly appreciated. This role also seeks a fresh and commercial approach. This person will be honest, transparent and agile, able to work with the inevitable challenges of a fast-growth environment. Since the company may seek to make an exit in future, experience in this alongside M&A, fundraising and stakeholder engagement will also be advantageous.
