ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT - PERM - Worcester - £20,000-£30,000Greenwellgleeson are recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join a fast growing IT business based in Worcester .Main purpose and scope of the job:Work closely with the Sales Ledger Executive and Purchase Ledger Executive assisting with the credit control and purchase ledger and sales processing activities within the organisation, in order to maintain the smooth operations of the company and maintain high accounting standards.Duties and key responsibilities:* Create customer account reconciliations* Produce weekly credit control reports and identify overdue invoices.* Assist with the sales order procedures* Standard data entry and sales order creation.* Accounts receivable data entry* Assist with the creation and submission of European Commission sales reports. * Financial Year-End preparation.* Work closely with the Purchase Ledger team to ensure smooth operation * Support the Purchase Ledger team by inputting purchase ledger from source documents* Matching invoices to statements and purchase orders to invoices* Assist in the production of financial statements and applications, preparation of spread sheets, reports and correspondence as required* Plan, organise and manage own workload to ensure your contribution to the company's monthly financial reporting process is achieved in a timely and accurate manner * Daily reconciliation of company bank accounts and company credit cards* Assist the Purchase Ledger team in creating payment runs General responsibilities* A commitment to upholding the highest standard of accounting procedures throughout the organisation. * Commitment to preserving the confidentiality and security of the data we manage within the organisation and for our customers as per the Data Security Policy.* Conform to the Data Protection Act and General Data Protection RegulationsExperience* Minimum level 3 AAT or equivalent qualificationPersonal attributes and other requirements* Be able to work well and integrate with other departments within the company* Work efficiently with minimal delegation and supervision.* Adapt well to the changing requirements of the business* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
