Interim Financial Controller

A leading manufacturer in Sheffield are looking for a strong Financial Controller to take on a key interim role for a minimum of 12 months. Whilst this year has clearly been challenging, the company have battled hard to keep a positive outlook on the balance sheet and seem well set to have a much more prosperous 2021.

The role will manage at least 1 site, and business partnering with commercial and operational leaders will form a key facet of the position. There is a lean but strong finance team to support the production of the management accounts, with this person more focused on the review and analysis of the reports and monthly numbers, before reporting into a Divisional FD.

Being the number 1 in finance on site, you will need a level of seniority and discipline - and with this being a very autonomous role, a high level of confidence and drive. You will have manufacturing (or at the very least operational site) experience and understand the process of production.

This is a great role as it necessitates a strong knowledge of accountancy but a desire to get involved in the commercial and operational sides of manufacturing finance. There will be a good handover in the New Year and with this sort of business there is always a potential for a role in the wider group.

Experience required
-Qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA - QBE considered if exceptional candidate
-Manufacturing experience
-Stock/inventory experience
