Financial Accountant

Are you an ACA/ACCA qualified accountant considering a new challenge? My client is looking for a technically strong accountant with the drive and determination to succeed in a fast paced environment. You will be joining a highly motivated team and working for a dynamic CFO at this rapidly expanding private equity backed business. There is strong history of internal promotion here so success in this position could quickly lead to a more commercial, business partnering role with one of the divisional Managing Directors. As Financial Accountant you will be responsible for:

• Preparing statutory financial accounts for all group companies consolidation
• Working closely with directors preparing strategic reports
• Ensuring internal financial controls are in place and improved across the business.
• Producing the monthly management accounts pack
• Managing month end reporting
• Review and reconciliation of balance sheet

My client is seeking someone bright and enthusiastic with the ability to communicate at all levels. You will be the point of contact for the audit and will be the liaison with external advisors on all compliance and regulatory reporting matters including technical accounting changes. This would be a fantastic first or second move to industry for someone with a background from an independent, regional or larger firm of accountants.
