Partner designate ACA ACCA qualified audit and accounts general practitioner Southampton

You will be working for a leading independent firm of accountants in Southampton that offers a wide range of advisory services including audit and accounting services, specialist company and personal tax planning, corporate finance, payroll, human resources, IT and strategic advice. They are committed to delivering a first rate service to a diverse client portfolio and providing proactive solutions to meet clients' needs.

As a Director/Partner Designate your key responsibilities will be to ensure that client affairs are dealt with promptly and to a consistently high standard and that deadlines are met; to assist Partners so that clients are delighted with the service they receive from the firm; and to lead by example and to demonstrate solid leadership skills by contributing to the day to day training of staff and by providing the appropriate coaching opportunities needed to develop the senior below to reach the next level.

You will need to be a fully qualified accountant with substantial exposure to general practice work and will be expected to keep up to date with all accounting changes by professional reading, research and training courses, take responsibility for the quality of work produced on lead assignments and ensure that clients receive the expected level of service. This is very much a general practice role and would ideally suit someone with broad ranging skills and experience of working with a wide range of clients, most probably SME's, OMB's ,charities and entrepreneurs.
