Part Time Small Practice Accountant Portfolio Manager, New Forest, ACA ACCA

A small but expanding accountancy practice in the New Forest with a wide ranging and growing client base is seeking to recruit a Qualified ACA or ACCA with extensive experience in accountancy practice to join their small, friendly team.

Working as part of a small team you will take an active part in the running of the office and overseeing the more junior staff members. The partner currently does much of the business development, with a lot of new business coming from referrals, so this is essentially a very "hands on" role for someone who does not mind rolling up their sleeves and undertaking a wide range of work which will probably include accounts prep, tax and management accounts work.

You will need to have substantial experience of working in another practice firm and it would be useful if you have experience of Sage Accounts/Tax, Xero, Quickbooks and possible VT software. The firm is currently looking for someone to work part time (approximately 3 days per week/21 hours) and exact days/hours worked can be flexible to suit the individual. The office is currently set up to allow "Covid friendly working" and this could be a hybrid role if required.
