Your new firm
A reputable regional firm of Chartered Accountants have a job opening for an ACA / ACCA qualified accountant to join their Accounts & Outsourcing team as a Senior Accountant. This job opportunity has arisen to support the managers and director with the delivery of the portfolio and supervision of the team and will be based in their Worsley office. This role offers a permanent hybrid working policy and the firm will consider 4 days a week or full time hours.

Your new role
As a Senior Accountant you will join the Accounts & Outsourcing department and be allocated a portfolio of SME and OMB businesses. In this role you will be responsible for the delivery of a range of accounting, advisory and outsourcing services to your portfolio which will include monthly management accounts, cashflow forecasts, accounts and tax compliance and tax planning and advisory services. You will work closely with your clients in an advisory capacity and be responsible for holding quarterly and yearly meetings.

You will also support the Senior Manager with the management of the team which includes delegating and reviewing the work of junior staff and acting as a mentor.

What you'll need to succeed
The firm are seeking an ACA / ACCA qualified accountant who has trained within general practice with exposure to preparing management accounts on either a monthly or quarterly basis for varying clients. This is a client facing role and therefore the firm are seeking an organised individual who can demonstrate strong interpersonal skills. This job opportunity would suit an ambitious recently qualified accountant based in Greater Manchester who is looking to develop either their management or advisory skills post qualification.
