A role as Management Accountant for a charity focused on driving social change across the UK. Working within a well established and supportive finance team.

Description

As Management Accountant you will use your accountancy skills to provide financial insight, challenge and decision-support for the organisation. You will be responsible for developing strong relationships with budget holders and programme and project managers ensuring that their financial needs and requirements are met.

You will prepare management reports and analysis for business areas as well as carrying out the financial appraisal of new projects, financial modelling and identifying financial risks along with proposals for their mitigation. You will also support budget holders through the usual annual and long-term planning cycles.

Profile

Candidates will ideally be fully qualified ( ACA / ACCA / CIMA / CIPFA or equivalent

Ideally you will have gained accountancy experience as a Management Accountant within a not for profit / charity or social housing organisation.

You will have previous experience of providing finance expertise to project teams and income and cost modelling.

You will be used to providing support to strategic change projects and the annual business planning cycle and have skills in developing management reporting.
