Hays Senior Finance is recruiting for a Senior Financial Accountant to join a market leading, global financial services business who are renowned for excellent internal development and progression opportunities across the business. You'll be joining a fast paced, responsible, values-led organisation operating in 17 countries worldwide.


Your New Role

As the Senior Financial Accountant, among other responsibilities, you will be responsible for;

• Preparation and review of annual statutory Financial Statements and related Board Papers
• Preparation of technical accounting papers as and when required
• Presenting Financial Statements and other papers confidently to the relevant Board
• Developing a knowledge of the key business operations and regulatory framework impacting the group
• Representing the EMEA and Asia Finance function on ledger design / technical projects
• Identification of process enhancements or risk mitigation protocols

What You'll Need to Succeed

• Fully qualified ACA / ACCA accountant
• Sound understanding of IFRS and UK GAAP, with knowledge of US GAAP desirable
• Great MS Excel / Word reporting skills
• Self-starter with positive attitude
• Well organised and can work to deadlines under pressure
• Exposure to Peoplesoft Financials and Workday Financials beneficial but not essential
