A highly recognisable business within the Rotherham area that is part of a large International group is now looking to recruit a Head of Finance on a full-time, fixed term contract basis to oversee the regional finance function. Our client is a specialist within a competitive but highly profitable niche industry.
Your New Role
You will be reporting directly into the Group Finance Director with a dotted line into the UK MD and will be responsible for a finance that team includes Accountants, Analysts, Payroll, Ledgers, Credit Controllers and Accounts Assistants.
Key duties of the Head of Finance will include:
- Management and financial accounting
- Forecasting and budgeting
- Costing
- WIP reviews
- Monthly board meetings and reporting
- Profit and margin analysis
- Process developments
- Managing the year end audit process
About You
The Head of Finance will be a qualified Accountant who has ideally worked within a manufacturing or engineering business. A strong background within interim or contract-based roles would be highly advantageous, as would any experience of a large group structure, although this is not essential.
Salary
In return, the Head of Finance will be offered a pro rata salary equivalent to £60,000 - £65,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
