Senior Management Accountant

An international distribution business based in Harrogate currently requires a career minded, ambitious CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified/passed finalist Management Accountant to join its finance team in a newly created senior position. Working closely with the recently promoted Financial Controller, this full-time, permanent role will encompass the full breadth of management accounts production.

Your New Role

As the new Senior Management Accountant your duties will include:

• Full preparation of the monthly management accounts.
• Assisting with board pack providing commentary and analysis.
• Budget and forecast planning ensuring company remains within planned growth projection.
• Liaising with senior stakeholders across sales, operations and marketing.
• Investigation and improving current reporting procedures through excel.
• Mentoring and developing junior members of the team being the daily point of contact for any training issues.

About You

The business is looking to speak with those who demonstrate:

• CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified/passed finalist or in the later stages of qualification.
• Previous experience within management accounts production.
• Advanced excel knowledge.
