Internal Audit Manager

Marks Sattin is currently partnering with a leading FTSE organisation who is recruiting an Internal Audit Manager into the Internal Audit team. Working closely with the team, you will be joining at an exciting time where there is heavy investment in the function fuelled by the projected growth in the business across 2021.

With a team that has gone from strength to strength, this is a great time to join and add further technical support to the Audit function. With audits across the Credit, Capital and Liquidity space high on the plan, ideally you will come with experience across the prudential space.

Within the role you will be:

• Manage relationships with key stakeholders that are challenging, constructive and professional, aiding the performance of audits.
• Understand the activities and findings of other assurance providers (such as external audit and Group Risk) to consider the impact of their findings on audit assignments.
• To apply the agreed audit methodologies to ensure conformance with professional guidelines (Standards, Ethics and Financial Services Code) issued by the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors.
• Undertake special investigations \ projects as required.

Ideally you will have a professional qualification to compliment the practical experience you have. Working across the third line, you will gain excellent exposure to the senior management team so strong communication skills are essential, providing simple insights into quite technical risks to the business.
