Your new firm
An established firm of Chartered Accountants based in Manchester City Centre are looking to recruit an Accounts Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This role is to work alongside another manager and is a great opportunity for a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA) to further develop their managerial skills. This firm are offering a hybrid way of working between the office and working remotely.

Your new role
As an Accounts Manager you will work alongside another manager to oversee the firms portfolio. You will be allocated your own portfolio of clients for which you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of compliance and outsourcing services. For your portfolio you will be the key advisor and contact for your clients, managing the workflow and reviewing the work and arranging and leading client meetings to discuss their accounts and advise on various issues and business strategies. You will work with the other manager to manage the wider team, with involvement in recruitment, training and management of the team.

What you'll need to succeed
The firm are seeking a qualified chartered accountant (ACA / ACCA) who can demonstrate at least 12 months post qualified experience. As a manager you must have good communication skills, organisational skills and a strong technical knowledge of both FRS 102 & 105 as you will be responsible for the filing deadlines for your portfolio.

You must be able to demonstrate experience of managing a client relationships and any exposure to managing WIP, billing clients or onboarding new clients would be beneficial.
