Are you looking for an exciting, commercial finance opportunity?

A client of mine is looking for a Financial Analyst to join their FP&A team to provide insight into the business and support decision making. The business is at an exciting stage of development and going through strong growth!

Your new role

As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for providing timely and robust information and support to key stakeholders (financial and non-financial) through business partnering. You will also be preparing weekly, monthly and ad-hoc commercial focused information, both financial and non-financial. Further duties include analysis of performance to understand and identify commercial drivers impacting results, while support the budgeting and forecasting processes. The reporting will be revenue-focused and you will also have good exposure to all elements of the P&L. Other duties may arise within the FP&A and Financial Reporting teams.

What you'll need to succeed

To be the successful candidate, you will need to be competent in Excel with experience of handling financial and non-financial data. Knowledge of the financial services sector and using budgeting and BI tools is an advantage. Ideally the candidate will be studying towards a recognised accountancy qualification (ACCA, CIMA or ACA).

What you'll get in return

The position is paying between £30,000 - £35,000, depending on experience, and is a very good opportunity to gain experience in a highly commercial role.
