Axon Moore have an exclusive opportunity for an experienced Payroll Manager based in the Cheshire area, ideally on a 4 month FTC, we will consider interim candidates on a daily rate too.
You will be responsible for leading the Payroll Team and managing the outsourcing of our payroll to a 3rd part payroll provider.
Duties:
• Taking the lead in delivering a high standard payroll service and dealing with very high-volume payroll.
• Ensuring all statutory payroll and pension reporting is completed accurately and on time.
• Leading a small Payroll Team who manage multiple weekly and monthly payrolls both in-house and as an outsourced service.
• The ability to coordinate your team and ensure this is done to a high standard every time is key.
• Managing a high profile project to outsource payroll within the next 6 months.
Person Specification:
• Strong background in Payroll Management within a fast paced, high volume environment.
Expereince with SD Worx and/or Ceridian would be hugely beneficial
• Looking for an opportunity to develop your career in a business that is growing every day.
• You will be highly skilled leading a team and in all payroll and pension processing, particularly auto enrolment, being able to demonstrate a proven track record of ensuring attention to detail and delivering a high standard of accuracy within tight timescales.
