Accounts Manager - Accountancy Practice

Elevation Recruitment Group are excited to be partnering with a firm of Chartered Accountants who, due to growth, are looking to take on a Accounts Manager for their Sheffield Office. This role is to work alongside another manager and is a great opportunity for a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA) to further develop their managerial skills.

As a manager with the team you will be tasked with managing a large portfolio and will offer the opportunity to manage a team of up to 10 staff for which you will be responsible for delegating tasks, reviewing work, and supporting with development.

Responsibilities:

*Managing a portfolio of clients
*Responsibility for all compliance matters for clients - annual accounts and corporation tax returns
*Personal tax planning for individuals
*Responsibility for client billing and co-ordinating all services delivered to clients
*Reviewing work performed by other team members and assisting with staff training
*Being the main relationship contact for clients
*Planning and organising workflow within the department

Requirements:

* ACA or ACCA Qualified
* At least 3 years' PQE
* Able to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
* Excellent time management skills to meet a variety of strict deadlines
