Commercial Lead, 6 Month FTC, Advertising, Central London, up to £80k

Our client has gone through phenomenal growth recently and is a global powerhouse in advertising implementation. Our client’s portfolio boasts instantly recognisable consumer brands, as well as some of the largest global blue-chip corporations.

The Role:

Whether it is developing pricing strategies for new business opportunities, or driving existing client profitability, the Commercial Team sits at the heart of everything our client does. Due to the rapid growth of the company, the team is looking for an enthusiastic, driven Senior Commercial Analyst to work on new and existing business.

  • You will work closely with, and become a high-profile advisor to, client leads, department heads and senior management; confidence, articulate communication and relationship building are vitally important.
  • You will help to develop pricing strategies by finding a mutually beneficial pricing solution; commercial acumen, as much as financial know-how, is what is required.
  • You will write business cases, and other documents, for both internal and external clients; we’re not looking for Shakespeare, but you should have strong written English and an eye for presentation.
  • In a fast-paced, rapidly growing organisation, priorities change by the hour; the ability to multi-task, prioritise and meet tight deadlines is invaluable.
  • In a complex business, with many different commercial models, the business will look to you for answers; you will need to educate others, as well as explain financial matters to your non-finance colleagues.

Our key requirements for this role are:

  • At least 5 years’ experience of working in a commercial or financial role, in a competitive industry.
  • Professional service or consulting industry background would be beneficial.
  • Exhibits strong commercial awareness.
  • Financial modelling and budget planning experience required; pricing experience preferred.
  • A team player.
  • Experience of global organisations and working with foreign currencies.
  • Able to analyse large volumes of data with strong Excel skills.
  • Client facing.
  • Negotiation experience.
  • Organised, logical & process orientated.
  • Enthusiastic, proactive & driven.
  • Very strong communication; written & verbal.
  • Influencer, networking & relationship builder.
