Interim Finance Project Lead

Interim Finance Project Lead - high level Welsh Government project - 18 month assignment

I'm currently working with a project focused department within the Welsh Government as they embark on a long term project that will have really positive implications on the Welsh economy. They are the central part of a consortium with multiple partners from both the public and private sector. In order to pull this together, they are looking for an Interim Finance Project Lead.

You will implement existing processes linked to grant funding and also create your own, based on the needs of the project. There is a high level of external stakeholder management, pulling together reporting from the other partners of the consortium. You will also support and drive the procurement process for goods and services linked to the success of the project.

You should be an experienced Project Lead, with a demonstrable background in working with grant funding. Ideally, you'd be used to working with multiple external stakeholders, or within a group environment. Public Sector procurement experience would also be an advantage.
